Family Recovery Day

Family Recovery Day

On this page, you’ll find our Family Recovery Day Guidelines for loved ones visiting patients admitted to Cumberland Heights.

Sunday Family Recovery Day

Because family participation in treatment is critical to the healing of the family, including the patient, Cumberland Heights sets aside each Sunday as Family Recovery Day. Although all activities are important throughout the day, it is essential families follow the schedule and attend the 1:15PM family recovery groups listed below. In addition we strongly encourage you to join us earlier in the morning for our non-denominational Chapel Services beginning at 11:00AM or our Mindfulness Meditation Practice at 11:00AM with Lunch (~ 12:00PM) immediately after. Sunday morning activities set the stage for you and your loved one to attend these necessary services at 1:15PM. You will begin a journey to whole family healing which you will not regret!

Upon arrival at Cumberland Heights, please come to the Frist Family Life Center (aka FLC Building). There are three entrances. One entrance is in the back parking lot which is handicap accessible to an elevator. Two are in the front with the one near the chapel being handicap accessible. The other entrance has the front desk area and a small family break room with tables. You may call our general information line (615) 356-2700 with any additional questions about visitation.
