Cumberland Heights is proud to partner with The Institute for the Advancement of Group Therapy and offer a 4-CEU skill-building workshop entitled Patient Engagement Techniques: The Art of Improved Outcomes. If you or your organization delivers group therapy, this is one event you won’t want to miss! We will provide evidence-based tools to help engage patients, deliver more effective therapy, improve patient outcomes, and lower resistant behaviors, leading to a more positive group experience.
This event provides four BHAP and NAADAC-accredited CEUs.
By the end of the half-day workshop, participants will be able to:
1) Identify the difference between knowledge and skill to help patients apply what they learn in group outside the four walls of the therapy, increasing recovery success in the real world.
2) Obtain patient buy-in to prevent resistant behaviors and provide a better group experience for patients and therapists;
3) Maintain engagement throughout entire sessions so that patients become active participants in their own recovery.
4) Tools and techniques to maximize recovery skill building for every patient in the room, every session. Limited seating available.
