What are you willing to give up to be sober? For many people struggling with addiction, substance use is part of their identity and they can’t imagine life without using. Recovery is about giving up one thing so we can have everything else we’ve been missing in active addiction. We have to be willing to take that leap. It’s scary, and it will be hard and painful, but if we have hope and a Higher Power we know it will be okay and the rewards are coming.
