About Our Guest

Junie Welsh is a Nashville native who began her education in psychology with her first psychology class at Harpeth Hall, an all-girls school that instilled in her the values of fearlessness, independence, and the importance of showing up. She started her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Sewanee: The University of the South, but after personal experiences with substance abuse and its effects, she completed her senior year at Tennessee State University. Junie then pursued a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at Trevecca and began her career in residential substance abuse treatment. She is also trained in EMDR through HAP. Her logo features three birds, inspired by her tattoo and the beloved song “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley, which serves as a reminder that, despite challenges, “every little thing’s gonna be alright.”
