Asenia Hedgecoth serves as a Float Counselor and Outpatient Counselor with Cumberland Heights Counseling and Outpatient Therapies (CHOT). Since joining Cumberland Heights in September 2019, she has also served as the Primary IOP Counselor at the Crossville Outpatient Recovery Center.
Asenia holds a master’s degree from Tennessee Technological University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP). Before joining Cumberland Heights, she worked in private practice and community mental health. Her passion for addiction treatment began early in her career while facilitating an alcohol and drug support group, where she was inspired by clients’ resilience and commitment to change.
Asenia finds fulfillment in helping patients reclaim their lives, develop self-love, and build hope for the future. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling to see Broadway musicals, attending live music, and spending time with friends.
