Chief Executive Officer

Jay Crosson is a veteran leader in the substance use disorder field with over 30 years of experience. Since joining Cumberland Heights in 1993, he has served as Chief Financial Officer and, since 2015, as CEO, where he has been instrumental in the organization’s strategic growth.

On a national level, Jay is the Past Chair of the Board for the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), where he previously chaired the Ethics Committee and contributed to the development of the Ethics Code 2.0 to combat deceptive advertising. His industry expertise led to his appointment to the LegitScript Advisory Board, helping establish industry standards for addiction treatment advertising.

Jay contributes his expertise to several prominent boards, including the Foundation of Recovery Science and Education (FORSE), the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Behavioral Healthcare Advisory Council, and the International Consortium on Quality in Substance Use Disorders Treatment (ICQ). He holds an MBA from Belmont University and is a person in long-term recovery.
