Rob McKinnon serves as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Counselor at Cumberland Heights, bringing a unique blend of professional experience and personal recovery to his role. Before entering the recovery field, Rob spent 20 years in facility management, developing strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills that continue to serve him in his work today.
Inspired by his own sobriety journey, Rob was drawn to addiction treatment by a desire to help others experience the same hope and transformation he found in recovery. He finds the greatest fulfillment in watching people reclaim their lives, rebuild relationships with their families, and become productive, engaged members of their communities.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, including his son and two grandchildren, who live with him. He also shares his home with two cats and a dog. In his free time, Rob loves cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers and tending to his flower beds.
