Co-Chief Development & Marketing Officer

Martha Farabee is Chief Development & Marketing Officer at Cumberland Heights. She has nearly 30 years experience in non-profit fundraising and has been with Cumberland Heights since 2009.

Martha previously served as Vice President of Development and Marketing at the Sexual Assault Center in Nashville, as Director of Development at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art, and as Director of Development at the Martha O’Bryan Center. Martha has held leadership roles within the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Middle Tennessee Planned Giving Council, and was named the first AFP Fundraising Executive of the Year in 2000.

An Alabama native, Martha is a graduate of the University of Alabama.

Cindy Patterson accepted her role as Chief Development and Marketing Officer in 2019.

Cindy has more than 16 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, most recently serving as Development Officer for United Methodist Higher Education Foundation. Prior to that she was V.P. of Development for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, a position she held for 10 years after serving as Development Director for NashvilleRead. Before her many years in fundraising, Cindy was the Manager of Premium Services for American Airlines.

Originally from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University.
