Sunday Sermon: Enlightenment

First of all, we want to wish all the fathers out there a Happy Fathers Day. We also send peace and love to those who are hurting today – whether their father has passed away, they have a strained relationship with their father, or the long to be a father. It can be a day of celebration, but also a day of sadness and we wish all of you peace today.

It’s difficult to be a parent in active addiction – you lose connection. Recovery helps you get connected afgain. A well-known father is the Buddah. The Buddah can teach us a lot on how to approach our recovery. Michelle shares his story of the double enlightenment the Buddah has to go through.

Why is it so meaningful to give to Cumberland Heights?

Your gift to Cumberland Heights through our annual and capital initiates gives immediate support to patients and their families. To make a longer term impact a gift to the endowment fund will provide patient assistance funding for years to come.
