WITH YOUR CONTRIBUTION, TOGETHER WE CAN FIGHT ADDICTION
Increase your giving power by giving the gift of stock
Why Give the Gift of Stock?
Giving stock doesn’t just help the men, women, and teens that we serve: it can also help you.
Giving Stock to Reach Your Philanthropic Goals
If you are trying to reach a certain giving level, donating stock gives you the option to hit the goal without simply writing a check. For example, reaching a $20,000 annual giving goal becomes easier by pairing a $10,000 cash gift with $10,000 in stock.
Increase Your Giving Power
A gift of appreciated stock to Cumberland Heights Foundation can benefit you in two ways: you receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the securities, and at the same time you may avoid capital gains taxes on appreciated stock. This helps stretch your gift even further.
Leveraging Your Age
If you are 70 ½ or older, you may make gifts directly from your IRA to Cumberland Heights without having to pay income taxes on that money.
