TV News Coverage: Reaching New Heights 2022 Raises Money for Women Struggling with Substance Use Disorder

What a gift to be able to gather in person this year for our Annual Reaching New Heights Luncheon! The always sold-out event celebrates the many women in recovery and raises funds for those still struggling with substance use disorder. Our featured speaker and three-time Grammy award winner, Ashley Cleveland shared her story beautifully through personal anecdotes and song – painting an inspirational picture of a transformation from the depths of despair to a place of healing.
Our beloved retired Executive Chef, Jimmy Threadgill accepted the Sheila Keeble award on behalf of his late mother, Dottie Threadgill. Dottie was Cumberland Heights’ nutritionist for many years, beginning in the 1970s. She continued to give back to CH through her own nonprofit group, Cumberland Heights Friends, right up until she passed away this year at 99 years old.
Big thanks to our Chair Jennifer Erickson, Presenting Sponsors Stephanie and John Ingram, as well as our Title Sponsor Elizabeth B. Fox.
